ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH is expanding its range of clamping element solutions in the field of safety products. The new LOCKED LK family is the ideal addition to the Langenfeld-based company's tried-and-tested range of clamping elements. Thanks to the new products, in conjunction with ACE's well-known comprehensive services, users now have a free choice between high-quality clamping and braking elements for linear guides of all common sizes and achieve increased process reliability.

Ideal combination of high clamping forces and small installation space

The components of the LK family ensure precise process clamping on the one hand and emergency braking on the other, as required. In this way, even large mass forces on linear units can be reliably secured, braked, clamped and held. All LOCKED-LK types work according to the wedge gear principle and provide users with even higher clamping, holding and braking forces in small installation spaces compared to clamping elements with spring tension. The new ACE family consists of different types of clamping elements, all of which are designed, tested and perfected for operation on profile rails. They therefore offer an excellent ratio between clamping forces and dimensions and are suitable for all standard sizes. These innovative pneumatically and electrically operated units are suitable both for integration into new designs and for replacing units from other manufacturers in existing designs and systems.

The new LOCKED-LK types: Safe is safe in all environments

With the high-performance, compact LK family, ACE is expanding its range of clamping elements. They also expand the range of high-quality components and systems for automation from the Stabilus Group company. The new products meet all quality and safety requirements of the market and are suitable for automation and robotics as well as for handling systems and packaging machines or for glass, wood and metal processing machines. In all environments, the new LOCKED-LK types impress with higher holding forces with the same dimensions as well as more and more individual functional options. Proximity switches for sensing the end positions as well as electrical versions are available on request.

In addition to the LOCKED solutions from the new LK family with the clamping and braking elements for linear guides, ACE offers numerous types for conventional rails, rod or rotary clamping. Special clamps with a safety function for Z-axes are also available in the LOCKED LZP family, which help to reliably secure gravity-loaded axes. Whether Z-axis, linear guide, rod or rotary clamping, the choice is, as is typical for ACE, as large as the performance of the products, which are compatible with the solutions of all common manufacturers.
